This seminar, led by Dr. Erin Sorrell, will outline recent advances and updates to U.S. Biodefense and Global Health Security Policies that work towards establishing a roadmap to plan and prepare for biological threats, be they naturally occurring, accidental or deliberate. A briefing on both policies will be followed by a discussion on the practical implications of capacity building with a particular focus on recommendations for operationalizing in partnership with various non-governmental stakeholders at the international level.
