Following an Accord between the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone and the Korean Medical Peace Foundation, signed on the 18th of June 2015, for a Korean designed and equipped community medical Clinic at Tokeh, the Ministry of Health and Sanitation in Freetown has confirmed that the construction of the facility is nearing completion with opening formalities planned for May 2016.
In a communication to Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Ambassador Omrie Golley,
from the Minister of Health and Sanitation, the Hon. Dr. A B Fofanah and dated the 12th April 2016, the Minister confirmed that construction of the Medical Facility was nearing completion, and that a shipment of medical supplies and equipment also generously donated by the Korean Foundation was scheduled to arrive in Freetown this week.
