The Engineer In-Charge of Magburuka Electrification Project, Edrick Saidu said that in the next two weeks they would light Magburuka township.
He explained that the project, which is under the auspices of acting Director General, Alhaji Timbo, involves the construction of 11 kilometers of Medium Voltage lines and the installation of 13 transformers within the township of Magburuka and Matora.
The Engineer In-charge further explained that so far transformers have been installed at the Magburuka Boys school, Ferry Road, Water Works, Post Office, Enerst Bai Koroma University, police station, to name but a few.
“We’ve completed 90% of the work and in the next one to two weeks we would have completed the entire construction to give the people of Magburuka electricity,” he assured.
