WAAPP undertakes phase out implementation support mission

As the first phase of the final country implementation programme of the West Africa Productivity Programme (WAAPP) comes to an end, a team from the organisation together has undertaken a visit to their implementing partners.

The team also comprises the Word Bank Implementation Support Mission (ISM) undertaken by the World Bank, Government of Sierra Leone and key implementing partners of the project to appraise milestones achieved as against set benchmarks in the previous ISM.

Mr. Justin Kenja, Representative of the Minister at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED) noted that WAAPP Sierra Leone may not have achieved all its benchmarks but it is a satisfactory project that has strived to achieve the major aspects of its project development objectives (PDO).
